About Us

Hi, I’m Mira. A mom, the founder of Keep Closer, and just like you, figuring it all out one day at a time.

Our little family has been living in Bali for over seven years now. Life here has changed us in so many beautiful ways. It inspired us to slow down, to live more simply, and to create something meaningful with our own hands. When our daughter was born, everything shifted even more. From her very first days, I carried her close. Babywearing became a daily essential for us. We couldn’t imagine traveling, doing chores, or even going for walks without a carrier. It gave me freedom, comfort, and connection through all the stages of motherhood.

Our Story
There are already so many lovely baby brands out there. Every mom can find something that fits her vibe. For me, I wanted to create something that brought together all the features that truly mattered in my everyday life as a mom.

My goal was to design a carrier that is comfortable and beautiful to complement a mom’s style, supportive yet super lightweight for hot weather, compact for travel, C-section friendly, and size-inclusive for different body types. And above all, safe.

 

Because babywearing is more serious than many parents might imagine. The right carrier can support your baby’s mental and physical development. The wrong or unsafe one can affect their health for years to come.

Let’s be honest. Parenting is beautiful, but it is also really hard. No one hands you a manual. Yet somehow, we are all expected to have a master’s degree in sleep science, nutrition, safety standards, developmental milestones, babywearing ergonomics, and emotional regulation. All before breakfast. It is overwhelming. With so much to learn when you become a parent, it is easy to overlook important details. 

That is exactly why I started Keep Closer. We have done all the research on ergonomic, safe babywearing so you do not have to. You can just enjoy the closeness, the convenience, and those precious moments. Because if there is even one thing we can help make easier for parents, we are happy.

So we made it happen.

Our Mission

What We Do
We are a Bali based brand specializing in fully handmade baby carriers. Every detail is carefully thought through, from the feel of the fabric against your baby’s skin to the way the carrier supports both of you. Each piece is personally checked by us before it reaches the customer.

Our Team
Our small, talented team of local artisans in Bali handcrafts each carrier with love and care. We are proud to support our local community by producing in small batches, giving away sample carriers to local moms, and keeping everything close to home.

We also make sure our packaging is plastic free, because we want to raise our little ones on a planet that is cared for, too.

Everything we make is sewn with intention, checked with care, and wrapped with love. No factory lines. No big warehouse machines. Just real people making beautiful things for other real people.
