- Suffocation Hazard: Infants under 4 months can suffocate if their face is pressed against your body. Ensure the baby's face is visible and free to breathe at all times.
- Age and Weight Limit: This carrier is designed for babies aged 3 months and up, weighing between 6-15 kg.
2. How to Wear the Carrier
Before You Begin
Inspect the carrier for any signs of damage or wear. Do not use if any part of the carrier appears damaged.
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
1. Prepare the Shoulder Straps and Waist Belt:
- Place the carrier over your shoulders, letting the shoulder straps rest comfortably.
- Take the waist belt and buckle it diagonally to each shoulder strap, ensuring a snug fit.
- Adjust the straps as needed to make sure the carrier sits securely on your body.
2. Open the Front Zipper:
Unzip the carrier's front panel to create an entry for placing your baby inside.
3. Place Your Baby in the Carrier:
- Carefully lift your baby and position them through the front opening, ensuring they are seated comfortably.
- Once your baby is securely in place, zip up the front panel.
- Check that the zipper is fully closed and does not pinch the baby's skin or clothing.
- While a protective layer is provided under the zipper, double-checking ensures added safety.
4. Final Adjustments:
- Verify that your baby is in a seated position with their knees slightly higher than their bottom (the "M" position).
- Tightness: The carrier should be snug enough to securely hold the baby against your chest but loose enough for you to move comfortably.
- Check Frequently: As the baby moves, recheck straps, buckles, buttons, and zippers periodically to ensure everything remains securely fastened.
6. Using the Detachable Hood (If Purchased)
Airflow and Overheating: If you have purchased the detachable hood, please ensure that your baby's airflow is not restricted and check frequently for signs of overheating.
7. Important Safety Information
- No Motorcycles or Bicycles: Do not wear the carrier while driving or riding any kind of motor vehicle or bicycle. This can be extremely dangerous for your baby.
- Avoid Cooking or Being Near Heat: Refrain from cooking, using open flames, or standing close to any heat sources while wearing the carrier. Babies can be sensitive to heat, and proximity to flames can pose a severe risk.
- No Cleaning with Chemicals: Avoid using household cleaning agents or chemicals while wearing the carrier, as fumes or spills could affect your baby.
- Avoid High-Risk Activities: Do not engage in strenuous activities while wearing the carrier. Keep movements slow and controlled to prevent any unnecessary risks.
